In July of 2004 at Glenwood Farms in California, Ta'ez was the first purebred Arabian stallion to be approved by ISR Oldenburg NA with a score of 216. We are hoping to have some outstanding foals presented for approval in 2006 out of Thoroughbred and Warmblood mares.

Ta'ez and his gelding son, Taif TZ, took home championship trophies for their dressage performances, Ta'ez at Intermediate 1 and Taif at 1st level dressage, with 40 competitors in his class. This was at the Arabian Horse Association's 2004 Sport Horse National show, held at Murrieta Equine Complex near Sacramento CA. Taez also won the Musical Freestyle championship with his Intermediate 1 ride. Both horses were trained and shown by Chelsey Sibley.

Taif also took a Top Ten award in Sport Horse in Hand ATH, with Johanna Constance at the lead. Our lovely mare VA Countess Alysa, sired by the Ralvon Elijah son, Cavu Paragon, also won a Top Ten honor (placed 5th ) in a class of 40+ with Jens Richter at the lead.

Bright Future Farms horses took home 4 championships at the 2004 Pacific Coast Arabian Sport Horse Classic. Medina TZ -Half Arabian Mares, Aden TZ -Half Arabian Stallions, VA Countess Alysa -Purebred Mares, and Taez -Intermediate 2 Dressage.

In February 2004 Bright Future Farms purchased the beautiful Oldenburg mare, SPS Leandra (Lafitte-Rubinstein-Ramino), in foal to Florencio by Florestan. She foaled a lovely chestnut filly named Leane who was given premium status at her inspection. Leane placed 2nd at a qualifying competition for the German Foal Championship, held in Lienen, Germany. Our filly placed 6th out of 130 fillies at the Final. Results can be found at www.horse-gate.com with videos. Leandra was bred back to Florencio for a 2005 foal. The horses will remain in Germany for the time being.

Leandra's dam, Leonie, is an elite mare, a daughter of Rubinstein, and a half sister to Sandro Hit, Diamond Hit, and Royal Hit, all out of the Ramino daughter and elite mare, Loretta. Leane's sire, Florencio, won the European Dressage Championship for 5 year old horses. In 2003 he was reserve champion for the 4 year old horses.

We lost SX Serafix in 2004; but he left us with two lovely foals, a solid dark bay out of Ta'ez's half sister, Samirada, and a chestnut filly out of the Russian import, Venda by Peleng. Photos will be added to Fixer's page.

In early 2004 three gelding sons of Redwinds Chaparral++ were listed in the top ten for AERC West division. They are High Chaparral, RC Starman, and RC Yankee Clipper. Also on the list was CV Eli, who was 2004 co-winner of the 100 mile Tevis cup and ridden by Jeremy Reynolds. Eli was sold by Bright Future Farms to his current owner, Hillorie Bachman. We are very proud of all of these athletes and their owners.

Please check back for more exciting news from the farm.
